first of all I would like to thank you about this important subject
studying linguistics is a very important issue inorder to know the historical background of all languages in general and Engilish language in particular . but when we study linguistics we should know what is meant by linguistics ? and who it works ? and how can we use it due to connecting with other or let us say using facial expression
I will define linguistics according to the " Jean Aitchison "who made the book that we studying it .
liguistics can be defined as a systematic study of language - a discipline which describes language in all its aspects and formulates theories as to how it works....... etc
