Requisition to Pay (RtP) Analyst
The Requisition to Pay (RtP) Analyst will work closely with WG CP Manager, THE COMPANY Project Managers/Engineers, Contract Holders, Contract Engineers and Buyers to support the RtP activities relating to contracts and procurement of materials executed on behalf of THE COMPANY.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Plan Demand
• Create SAP Work Orders / Network Orders reflecting requirements specified on the paper Work Order Form. Work with Project Accountants to ensure completeness and correctness of orders placed in SAP.
Requisition
• Create PRs and issue POs for all project materials procured on behalf of THE COMPANY by WG
• Process end to end RTP requirements for project service contracts supported by WG
• Monitor and verify SAP Purchase Requisitions that have been generated in SAP through the release of Work Orders / Network Orders.
• Work with THE COMPANY Contract Holder / Authority Holders to approve pending SAP Purchase Requisitions.
• Perform daily monitoring and follow-up of Purchase Requisitions ensuring approvers understand the approvals they are requested to do, and perform those approvals on a timely basis.
- This includes the pro-active resolution of all issues that may arise, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure all the activities in the RtP process are executed, providing management information to Contract Holders/Contract Engineers and other key contract stakeholders, conducting extensive checks of invoices received and ensuring compliant invoices are paid on time and non-compliant invoices are rejected.
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS and COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
• A procurement professional with good commercial skills and at least 8-10 years’ relevant experience, supporting major capital projects (preferably in the in the oil & gas industry).
• Commercial experience should cover a mixture of technical and contracts engineering disciplines including working on Construction projects.
• Demonstrable understanding of financial, commercial and technical controls in both the tendering process and contract management.
• Fluency in English as a contract Language. Fluency in Arabic language would be an advantage.
• Excellent computer literacy skills
• Experience in using an ERP system for Contracting and Procurement processes ( SAP) would be a significant advantage.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and high level of customer orientation and self motivation to achieve challenging targets within a diverse team on a challenging project located in different geographical areas (Iraq, UAE, Europe).
