Skills required:
-Have experience within an equivalent 2nd line network support role
Strong demonstrable experience in supporting, maintaining and developing a complex Cisco routing and switching network environment
-know Cisco router configuration and operation (or equivalent).
-have in-depth knowledge of routing protocols such as Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF).
-have good understanding and practical experience with technologies like (MPLS)
-have Cisco certifications Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
What you'll be doing:
You will ensure that the teams SLA’s are met on a daily basis and have responsibility for performing Network Operational duties, including reporting, troubleshooting, configuration and capacity management of network equipment employed across all of the customer network. You will also liaise with third parties and provide Root Cause Analysis as part of the customer fault resolution process.
