Operations HSE Coach
The Operations HSE Coach reports to the Operations HSE Manager and is responsible for:
• Coaching and train Ops HSE team of Iraqi Advisors, Supervisors, Unit Leads and Divisional Leads
• provide HSE leadership and support to line management
• Cover various locations, potentially including NGL Plants, compressor stations and residential camps
• Support associated project activities within the areas
Experience and qualifications desired
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Science, Engineering or in related fields
- Good understanding of non-technical risks.
- Knowledge of the IOG industry business and HSSE processes
- Solid coaching skills
- Practical experience with and solid knowledge of competence development systems
- Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in Operational HSE, Oil & Gas Operations, Project HSE, Asset Integrity or Process Safety
- Proven ability in developing and implementing HSE Tools and Techniques (particularly in HEMP studies/reviews)
- Experience in developing and implementing Risk Assessment, Front line Barrier management and HSE Cases in an operating plant where SIMOPS is prevalent
- Leadership experience in a challenging oil & gas facility, with a strong focus on Process Safety
- Active involvement in the execution of PTW systems
- Experience in implementation of HSE requirements and in managing operational safety in brownfield sites.
- Experience in integrating HSE requirements effectively into business processes.
- Experience in delivering HSE training, performing HSE audits and supporting incident investigation.
- Experience working with Incident Management systems and implementing HSSE & SP Control Framework requirements.
- Ability to facilitate incident investigation techniques such as TOPSET and TRIPOD would be an advantage
- Good influencing and negotiating skills, openness to diversity, tenacity and patience
- Solid command of the English language
