About and Of are the most frequent prepositions to follow complain, but not For!.... However, when you use complain about ... It means you express dissatisfaction to somebody about something.... For example .. Carmen was complaining about the customer service!!!

When we use complain of, it means that we say that we feel ill and / or sick, or suffer from a pain .... So basically, complaining of something will have to do with our well-being and/or health... It's most commonly used in medicine but is not limited to it.. ... For example, you could go to the doctor and complain of a headache!!

Composed of, not from:

We say composed (of) when we want to create something out something
like in this exmpale: Our class is composed of thirty students.
Composed of is as in Consist of!!

But when we use (from), then we are refering to the action of taking from something, means from a source.

We also can say composed (by) when we want to refer to the creator! Example: The music was composed by Carmen!
