حبيت أشارككم ببعض القصايد التي تطرقنا لدراستها بالمستوى الثالث
هالشرح مبسط وانا صغته حسب فهمي للقصيده من الاستاذه وكمان من خلال قراءتي لشروحات ع النت
واتمنى تستفيدو منها واذا فيه اي اضافه او تعديل منكم بكون سعيده جدا

Ozmandias

General meaning: Ozmandias vanity
Detailed meaning: the poet told us that he met someone he was traveller from the old land(Egypt) and said to him:that thereis a huge statue has two legs and the upper part of it cut of. it's still standing in the desert helf of it is steeped in the sand and the face breaker or crushed to pieces. frown face..his lips shrinking and the sneer which appear on his face tel us that the sculptor mastared those feeling read that are still standing. on this statue the words"My name.....and despair" he show for us ozmandias' vanity. then tell him that everything about his statue has become a ruin..wreckage and lonely surrounded by sands

Intention: vanity of human wishes and the failure of all attempts to immorlatise human greatness

Lucy

Geneal meaning: about a girl who was unknow and now she is dead

Detailed meaning: the poet tell us about a maid lived away from the eyes of the people next to the springs. that maid dosen't anyone to give her the praise and love but little. this explains the presence of special feeling of loneless and loss and talk about the beauty and dignity of an ideal woman who lived unnoticed by all others except by the poet himself. he describes Lucy who lives in isolation near source of the River Dove like wildflower unaffected nature. this implies that the beauty star when it only one shines in the sky. after that the poet laments her death early alone and he was the only who noticed that

Intention: Lucy is a simple of nature which neglected by people but no one appreciate that beauty. because no one go to that place

The dead crab

General meaning: describing the dead crab
Detailed meaning: The poet describe to us the back of the crab that protect by a steel shield. That the shield is not difficult for the powerful storm to break it. Also it has sharp edges look

That strong shield completely protects its weak belly. He also describes his legs that make him run fast, it has claws like mouths to catch his food
The poet doesn't think that the crab will die, either storm or fishes or seabirds because of all prodection which it has, walks to the sea heavily armed like soldier.
Intention: How strength and piotectin you have no one last forever

The dead


General meaning: Dead soldiers' of the war


Detailed meaning: the poet refers to soldiers' hearts as being integrated with "human joys and cares". this refers to the love and warmth in their lives before the war and shows us how they were happy. their lives were not prefect and they also their share of problems and unhappiness. but still they laugh as part of life. "down was theirs" he tel us that now their time had come, mean that they will going to the grave
He show that men who dead, lived life completely, injoying all the moments like love, friendship, and life and even those precious moments indescribable. everything was before the war is ended and changed
He describes for us the change of winds and weather. also that the time of the day changes it is now night instead of bright. he isn't imagine"the dead" as being something as terrible as. when they go for war, they have hopes that they will back, but they dead
He talks about young person who has no sins. those soldiers no one can say anything bad about them because for them glory and greatness


Intention: He is against the soldiers to go to war the waste their life in the war
