MEPI Student Leaders Program: This is a six-week summer program taking place June 26-August 7, 2012, for students ages 18-24 from the Middle East region. The program will take place in select U.S. universities/colleges and will focus on leadership, conflict resolution, and the role of the civil society in the democratic process. MEPI Leaders for Democracy Fellowship – Arabic Program: This program will send civic leaders and democracy activists from across the Middle East to the American University of Beirut for a ten-week program taking place May-July 2012 to gain academic skills and professional experience.
