Write about a problem currently affecting your community. If it were within your abilities, how would you work to solve this problem?
In my country, Iraq, many problems cause lots of troubles so often. One really faces many difficulties during every-day life. As an Iraqi citizen, I became aware of such problems and often wonder whether possible solutions seem to be available. Sometimes our problems are so simple but people do not see things from the right angle. It must be noted that we are the tools in this society that solve any problems, as well as sometimes the very tools that cause such troubles . then, our role is to be positive in the environment we live in.
One of the problems that cause a lot of tension in the countries of the region is sectarianism. Sectarianism leads people to hate each other for silly reasons. The nature and aspects of each sector of any religion must have some differences from each other because that's the reason of being different branches. By trying to praise any group with attacking and humiliating other groups, a high level of stress is to be expected. This will push others to attack you back. The saga will continue like that and it will form fixed hatred in people. This is the most important reason that causes most violence around the world.
In Iraq, sectarianism is highly noticed everywhere. People fight with each other and cause thousands of people to get killed horribly. Some of them may not know exactly what the reason of the fighting is, they just follow the stupid speeches of those untruthful leaders of violence. People may get killed for the most stupid pretexts on the earth. Others continuously lose their homes and properties. The huge destruction of the consequences of sectarianism causes lots of sorrows and pains that would never be cured again. This is the main cause of the majority of Iraqi troubles. Each family must have lost a dear member and nobody knows why is all of this still happenings.
Events from the far past history are still stressed by some exploiters to increase this sense of present hatred. The tragedy is that many naïve people are believing them. Thus the series of violence is set to continue forever. Some parties do not prefer stability in this country. What we need to focus is the need to get rid of those traders of violence and souls. People should be aware that we are human beings and we should just get over. Things need to stop at here. After decades of bleeding, it is enough. All criminals should get isolated and good people need to live in peace for God's sake…
Our role as good members of the society is to focus our shared qualities. The majority of us come from common tribes, origins, and the same culture. Our civilization started 3500 years ago. We worship one God. We , in short, are all brothers and sisters of humanity. That's the positive elements we need to stress, unlike fake stupid leaders who lead the society to doom.

What are the qualities of an effective leader? Name one leader living today whom you admire and explain why
There are many features necessary for any successful leader. There is no one fixed scale for what constitutes a good or bad leader, but surely some characteristic do determine this matter. Any leader should represent the unique values made him a leader from the beginning. What makes you a leader if you are simply the same as others around you? Of course, some features need to be the raw material for any affective leader. The leader is not necessarily to have an official authority or a governmental position. He/ she can be any person who has a message in life or is able to solve different problems or to handle various tasks.
One of the major characteristics of leaders is wisdom. The group may pass through different kinds of situations. In each one, the successful leader should know what to do and when to do it and how. Objectivity is yet another important factor in the personality of leaders. As a leader, one need to have certain morals and rules that he/she relies on when working to solve any issue. Responsibility is required as a must for any leader as it is extremely necessary to manipulate any problem that may arises and offer the best possible solutions. These few factors are just some of the important elements that form the personality of a leader.
Among the major characteristics of leaders is stability. One need to have a stable psyche at all times. Especially at crisis times, stability is required. A leader should judge by careful meditation of all the conditions that revolve around the subject matter.to be systematic is yet another important feature for leaders. A leader must represent some values and aspect that enables him to lead. These elements are among the various elements of successful leader. An example of a leader I admire is Mr. Ali Dwai Lazim, the Governor of Maysan province.
Ali Dwai is a very humble person. I admire his honesty. He never hesitates to pay whatever effort to improve his province. People in Maysan respect him so much. He was elected twice for his position as a result of his truthfulness, kindness, and his real leadership spirit. When you walk in a random street, it is not expectable to witness the Governor to work physically in cleaning. In Maysan, this is common. Really, he is a man of word. After 5 years in position, Maysan had developed greatly. It is unbelievable how successful leaders can make enormous influences like that. He is often regarded as the friend of poor people.
The above discussion list some important features to be found in any successful leader. For a group to have a leader is for a ship to have a captain. His visions and choices determine the path of the ship and how it will sail in violent oceans. He is really the main concern. Of course, this doesn’t exclude the roles of the whole group which is expected to act in cooperation with its leader.
