Let's talk about EITHER and NEITHER first
» The first thing to note about these two words is that there are two different forms of pronunciation. The ‘ei’ in both words can ‘either’ be pronounced as the 'i' in ice cream or as the 'ea' in ear.
Either means ‘one or the other’, and Neither is the negative (not + either = neither).
So we say:
• We can either see a movie or go to the park.
• Neither of them got up early today.

1. We use either/neither to describe two choices or situations, never more than two.
2. The example above means something like ‘both of them did not get up early today’, however it is wrong to say ‘both…not’ and it is correct to say ‘neither…’
