A general contractor company is hiring a deputy project manager to cover and assist in managing the overall assigned project based in Maysan oil field – Amarah.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Preferred MSc.)
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience in oil fields management.
- Fluent in English
- Excellent in MS office (Especially excel)
- Age ( Between 35 – 40 years old)
- Knowledge of engineering terms, design requirements, processes, and document types
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team including process, mechanical, civil-structural, electrical, instrumentation and CAD support
- Understanding of project controls, and reporting
- Strategic managerial skills and experience
- Ability to meet safety requirements to attend site visits
Responsibilities (Include but not limited)
- Preparing project plans, including the project execution plans (PEP)
- Managing project budgets
- Managing manpower schedules for engineering deliverables
- Overseeing construction work packages (CWPs), including bills of materials, isometrics, scope, layout, instrumentation lists, and specialty items lists
- Coordinating CWPs, trends, scope changes, design change notices (DCN) and field change notice (FCN)
- Managing all action items to ensure they are completed on schedule
- Performing other duties as requested
